How wf.band Uses Cookies
wf.band uses minimal cookies necessary to provide the Service. We do NOT use advertising or tracking cookies.
1. Essential Cookies (Required)
These cookies are necessary for wf.band to function. You cannot disable them.
Session Cookie- Name: `session` (or similar - depends on FastAPI configuration)
- Purpose: Keeps you logged in while you browse wf.band
- Duration: Deleted when you close your browser (session cookie)
- Data stored: Random session ID (no personal information)
Without this cookie, you cannot log in or use wf.band.
2. Security Cookies (Cloudflare)
wf.band uses Cloudflare for security, DDoS protection, and performance.
Cloudflare may set the following cookies:
__cfduid- Purpose: Identify trusted traffic and block malicious bots
- Duration: 30 days
- Data stored: Anonymized identifier (not linked to personal information)
- Privacy: See Cloudflare's Cookie Policy
- Purpose: Bot management and security
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Data stored: Anonymized bot detection data
These cookies are necessary for security and cannot be disabled without blocking access to wf.band.
3. Analytics Cookies (Future - Not Currently Used)
We do not currently use analytics cookies (like Google Analytics).
If we add analytics in the future:- We will update this Cookie Policy
- We will notify you via email
- We will provide an opt-out option (if feasible)
- We will only use analytics to improve the Service (never for advertising)
Cookies We Do NOT Use
wf.band does NOT use:
- ❌ Advertising cookies (no ads on wf.band)
- ❌ Third-party tracking cookies (no tracking across websites)
- ❌ Social media cookies (no Facebook/Twitter/etc. tracking)
- ❌ Profiling cookies (no behavioral targeting)
How to Control Cookies
Browser Settings
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings:
Important: If you disable or delete essential cookies (session cookie), you will NOT be able to log in or use wf.band.Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. wf.band respects DNT signals and does not use tracking cookies regardless of this setting.
Third-Party Services
wf.band uses the following third-party services that may set cookies:

We do NOT use:
- Google Analytics (yet - we will notify you if added)
